The founder and principal of MWC, Marjorie Wilner is a marketing communications and public relations expert. She specializes in the financial services industry, using her education and experience in finance as the foundation for her two decades of work as a communications strategist, practitioner and advisor to the industry.
Marjorie spent the early years of her career as an investment banker, then served as a corporate communications executive with Hill & Knowlton, PaineWebber and UBS. For more than 12 years as the principal of MWC Marketing + Public Relations, she has counseled and managed communications initiatives for investment banks, asset managers, insurers, investment and economic research firms and IT service providers, among others.
As a professor of marketing with the graduate business program at the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, Marjorie taught advanced topics in marketing. Her professional affiliations have included 100 Women in Hedge Funds, the Financial Women's Association, the Public Relations Society of America and the International Association of Business Communicators.
Marjorie graduated with distinction from the Stern School of Business at New York University with an MBA in finance, and also holds an M.A. in psychology from NYU.
